Dr Green treated Sam Dingle after he was admitted to Hotten General Hospital. Dr Green informed Sam's father Zak Dingle and his partner Joanie Wright that Sam had concussion, but revealed that Sam had also been shot in the bottom. Zak covered for Joanie, who had accidentally shot Sam whilst being taught to shoot, and explained Sam was a game keeper so it would have been poachers. Dr Green notified them that it was protocol to call the police.
