Omniscient narrator is a general literary term used to refer to a specific narrative voice used in writing. It is also often called Third-Person Narrative. The omniscient narrator is a third person voice which provides the given narrative and which is all-knowing of that which transpires within the context of the narrative. They thus speak with authority on that which is revealed.
