Asoth was a Markalian customer of Quark's Bar in 2369. Asoth once accosted Quark over a bowl of poorly-replicated Kohlanese stew. The stew had been spoiled by a replicator malfunction, and Asoth was so annoyed that Odo had to stop him from force-feeding the stew to Quark. Some time later he ordered another bowl of the stew, and this time was pleased with the taste, as Quark had ordered it from a functioning replicator in a station guest's quarters. (DS9: "Babel") Asoth was played by actor Bo Zenga. According to the script, his name was pronounced as "AY-soth". [1]
