The French version of the first Muppet Show album was released one year after the North American and UK versions. In contrast to most of the other international releases, the album was adapted entirely into French, and featured the same voice cast as Le Muppet Show. While "Mahna Mahna" and the Swedish Chef routine retain their original nonsense tracks, "Hugga Wugga" is adapted, possibly due to the interpolation of "You Are My Sunshine," featuring the vocals of Pierre Tornade (as the Hugga Wugga creature) and Micheline Dax (as the "You Are My Sunshine" creature).
