Plafond (Bridge-Plafond, Contract Action) was the direct predecessor to modern contract bridge. It was mostly the same as royal auction bridge, but only the tricks actually bid were counted towards game as in modern contract bridge, which forms the need of accurate bidding. This is a stub.
