The Italian Grand Prix is a motor race, currently on the F1 calendar. The race was first held in 1921, and except for in 1929-30 and 1939-46, has been held continuously since then. It was one of the original races of the World Driver's Championship, and has been held ever year since then. With five exceptions, the race has always been held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, normally on the first weekend in September. Local favorite Ferrari has been victorious 19 times, and Michael Schumacher has the most victories with five.
