The Due or Die was a bar located in the first Federation Starbase 193. Owned and operated by the El-Aurian Camenae the bar was a hub of activity on the Starbase, both legal and otherwise. The Due or Die was destroyed in 2368 along with the rest of Starbase 193 when the Starbase was attacked by the Romulan warbird IRW Haakona. Camenae survived the attack and when Starbase 193 was rebuilt she also built a new bar named the Do or Die. (TNG novel: The Devil's Heart)
