Schumach is a Denmark representative. In Captain Tsubasa 5, he plays for Manchester United. He is good at competing for aerial ball, and has a special save called the Miracle Wall. In Captain Tsubasa 4, Denmark beat Brazil during the Soccer Grand Prix, and when Schumach met Tsubasa, he said that even Santana and Coimbra were no big deal. However he couldn't stop Hyuga's Dragon Tiger during the match against Japan. He is based on real life player Peter Bolesław Schmeichel.
