A particularly nasty venom available from shady Araby dealers is scorpion venom. Normally, this toxin is taken from stung mice, rats, or other small animals, which are then dried and ground into powder. From this mess, the poison can be sprinkled in food and drink or mixed with oil to apply to a blade.[1a]
