The tenth season of Dancing with the Stars premiered on March 22, 2010. There was no elimination the first week of competition. The first elimination took place on March 30. Tom Bergeron returned as host. Season 7 champion Brooke Burke replaced Samantha Harris as host. Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba all returned as judges. On May 25, 2010, singer Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough were announced as the winners; figure skater Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya placed second and ESPN host Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy placed third.
