It is a head armor referring to the cap worn by the Hero of Time as part of the Kokiri Tunic worn by adult Link in Ocarina of Time. It is part of the "Time" armor set, along with the Tunic and Trousers of Time. It can be acquired randomly from the Treasure Chest dropped using the amiibo Rune with the Link amiibo of The Legend of Zelda: 30th Anniversary series.
