Jose Carlos Moreno (February 24,1968-May 3, 2002) was a Mexican actor born on February 24, 1968. He was the first voice of Barney in Latin American countries. In 2001 he retired from the character due to the strain it was being put on his voice. The role then went to Ruben Cerda. Shortly afterwards on May 3, 2002 when he died after a car accident on route to Cuernacuva, Morelos at the age of 34.
