Features of the FR1620B include an ash body with black binding and a five-piece Wizard HP neck with 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Components include Ibanez Calm Crusher pickups a fixed bridge and chrome hardware. It is very similar to the FR1620, but has a white finish with black body binding. The FR1620B was available only in Japan and was discontinued after 2011.
