Ongekigen (音撃弦 Ongekigen lit. "Sound Attack Chord") are a Guitar-styled Oni's typical choice of an Ongeki Weapon. Ongekigens are used like bladed eku in combat. When it is time to finish off a Makamou, a Oni plugs their Ongekishin into their Ongekigen, forming the Ongekigen's guitar mode, which the Ongekigen is then plugged into the Makamou, allowing the Oni to play their Sounds of Purification to destroy the Makamou.
