The Clift was a first class hotel located in San Francisco, California dating from the early 20th century and located a few blocks from Union Square. In early September 2024, Christopher Brynner had his assistant Britt reserve Jadzia Dax a room at the Clift for five nights after she arrived in the 21st century, along with Commander Benjamin Sisko and Dr. Julian Bashir due to a transporter accident.
