Over a period of nearly twenty years, Hetos erved as a color timer on over a hundred feature films. Among these were Young Guns, Hot Shots!, Army of Darkness, Stargate, Independence Day, Jerry Maguire, Boogie Nights, American Pie, American Beauty, Magnolia, and Road to Perdition. Hetos died of cancer in 2006 at the age of 73.
