Lower Telfen is located in Katan province, in the north-central region of Koridan. The village lies at the base of the Telfen Rift, a cliff several dozen meters high, and dozens of miles long. The road northeast follows the Rift, and then the foothills of the Arrok Mountains to Falconridge. The road southeast leads to Tegmar. The road continues northwest up the face of the Rift to Upper Telfen via a large wooden staircase and elevator-type structure.
