The UNSC Blenheim is the lead ship of the experimental and later cancelled Blenheim-class battleship built to test new technologies, designs and strategies in the developing art of space combat. At the time of her construction, she was the most advanced and powerful vessel ever constructed. To make the installation of new systems easier, nearly every room or divided section on the Blenheim was mounted on a powerful conveyor system that allowed it to be quickly refitted to mission specifications. She normally had a hull plated with explosive-resistant steel followed by six metres of lead to protect the crew against the radiation of space.
