Emperor Palpatine was the grand leader of the Empire during the Galactic Civil War. He was born on Naboo where he was found by the dark lord Darth Plagueis and trained to use the dark side of the force. Once he became powerful enough he had killed Plagueis in his sleep. During the clone wars he was the Supreme Chancellor who made most of the decisions on the war. After Order 66 he had Taken the name of Darth Sidious as his main name and had created the new Galactic Empire. Palpatine was later killed on the Death Star by his own servant Darth Vader who had saved his son Luke Skywalker.
