Five years after Nerath declared himself Emperor, there was an expedition into the Underdark nea r the capital city. Beneath the earth, the explorers found many wondrous things, and some horrific. Something that looked fair but was quite foul were the Drow. Hidden in the Underdark since the Shadow Years, the Drow had grown powerful but stagnant. This action sent nearly every noble and powerful merchant in the city looking for acceptable Drow marriages, either for themselves or for a child. Barely a year had passed before a full quarter of all newlyweds were comprised of Drow.
