I hate to answer a question with a question, but don't you mean 'ion'? If this is the case, then a positive ion is an atom which has 'lost' an electron, giving it a positive charge. In case you didn't make a typing error, a positive iron has a sunny disposition despite your repeated attempts to burn your shirts.
