The ISS Avenger (NCC-74989) was a Defiant Class Destroyer/Escort in the late 24th century that was under the control of the Terran Rebellion. In 2377, the Avenger was put under the command of Ezri Tigan. It was generally seen patrolling the Badlands until Earth was recaptured. It was did several raids on Alliance transports freeing slaves and increasing the manpower of the Rebellion. In 2386, it was assigned to task force with the ISS Dauntless and ISS Prometheus.
