The Brigians were a humanoid race native to Brigia. They were tall, thin beings with purple skin and small, deep red eyes. During the early years of the New Order, the Brigian people were forced to submit to the whims of the New Regime. They were unable to pursue higher education, and their planetary treasury was raided by the New Regime's leaders to purchase war machines to help solidify their position of power. However, after Han Solo and Hissal exposed the true nature of the New Regime, the Brigians began to rebel, and eventually earned their freedom.
