They are green-skinned bipeds with no apparent nose, and are apparently descended from lobster-like creatures. Their eyes have been described as "crepuscular compound eyes". Certain information seems to indicate that the species reproduces sexually, having both males and females. Some individuals are seen to have six protrusions from their backs that extend outward when the individual is aggravated (these may be evidence towards wings being present in a previous evolutionary stage), it is unclear if these are exclusive to males as no females are encountered.
