Prior to appearing in Emmerdale, Head has had roles in The Inbetweeners, Doctors, Trial & Retribution: The Lovers, Doc Martin, MI High and Robot Chicken. Emily is the older of actor Anthony Head's two daughters. Her younger sister Daisy is also an actress who has appeared in BBC's The Syndicate.
