The first 10 lessons or so are actually slower than the ones at the end of Assimil New French with Ease, but the course gets harder somewhere between lesson 10 and 20. These lessons tend to be longer than the ones in the basic course, and some students may have trouble completing one lesson per day without increasing the amount of time they spend studying.
