As a Force sensitive Zabrak boy, Mennaus was trained in the ways of Jedi and sent for practise on Tython. He met fellow padawans Jerridan and Avitla and trained together. During their explorations, a Flesh Raider attacked them, wounding Jerridan before being killed. Wanting to take revenge on the Flesh Raiders, Mennaus reminded her not to seek vengeance.
