Hilary Tones played a Girl in Wine Bar on Coronation Street in September 1990. This was an early role in a career which has since encompassed parts in Heartbeat, London’s Burning, The Bill and Wire in the Blood, amongst others. Her extensive theatre CV includes parts for the Royal Exchange and Library Theatre in Manchester as well as several roles for the Shakespeare Globe Theatre in London including the leading role of Lady Macbeth in 2001.
