Jake Kirkwood is a Character in DEXTER. He was the husband of Hannah McKay. They were married for a couple of years, which began to end when Hannah got pregnant. Hannah wanted a family but Jake demanded she get an abortion or he would leave her. In response Hannah killed him by poisoning him with Aconite. She later had a miscarriage losing their baby. Lieutenant Debra Morgan and Sal Price later tried to have his body exhumed through his sister Lori, but Hannah did not have the body embalmed so there was no tissue to test.
