Cordé Amidala was a Jiuzuriya clone created by the Jedi Sage: Jiraiya Uzukariya. She was cloned from Cordé, who had died in the line of duty. Less than a year after her apparent death, in honor of her memory, Jiraiya cloned an unaltered clone of Cordé, and he personally brought the infant Cordé clone to the doorstep of her household family in a bassinet, using the Force into manipulating the household family of Cordé into taking in the clone infant into their homestead. Despite its surname, Jiraiya manipulated Cordé's parents into naming her: Cordé Amidala, with her last name, Amidala as a way of honoring Senator Padmé Amidala. the woman whom she served under and died for.
