Time Synchronizer is an extension present from Mac OS 8.5 through to Mac OS 9.2.2. Time Synchronizer enables your Mac to synchronize its date and time information via atomic clocks on the Internet. It is used directly by the Date & Time control panel beginning in Mac OS 8.5. Having this extension, however, doesn't guarantee the auto-synchronization feature. To actually get the time synchronization working, you must also be on an active Internet connection.
