Pendle Hill is a Quaker center for study and contemplation located on a 23-acre campus in suburban Wallingford, Pennsylvania, which is 12 miles southwest of Philadelphia. It was named for Pendle Hill in Lancashire, England, a place of historical significance to Quakers [1]. It offers several study programs. There is a residential study program where people spend three to nine months in intense study of the spirit and of themselves. Short-term courses of two to seven days are also offered throughout the year on topics ranging from introductory Quakerism to nonviolent change to flower arranging.
