Stepney's brother, Boxhill, is an LBSCR 0-6-0T A1 of 1872 who was built in August 20 1880 and retained his original boiler, although he received a new funnel from the Southern Railway. He was converted to 2-4-0T in March 1905 for auto-train trials. He was restored to 0-6-0T in 1913. He was withdrawn in August 1946. He was mentioned in Thomas and the Great Railway Show. He carried the "Loco Dept Brighton Works" number 682, and "Loco Works Brighton" 380S.
