PSI Shield (PK サイコシールド, PK Shield) (also known as "Psychic Shield", and "Counter") is a PSI ability in EarthBound. It protects a single conscious character, or all characters, from enemy PSI-based attacks, and even returns some of the blocked damage to the attacker at higher power levels. PSI Shield is learned in EarthBound Beginings by Ninten and Ana, in EarthBound by Paula, and in Mother 3 by Lucas.
