Igantius Crook was a failed dragonologist and enemy of Dr. Drake. He was partially responsible for the plague which led to the extinction of the Indian Naga. He also made a failed attempt to kill the good doctor and become Dragon Master. He claimed, wrongly, that since his father Ebenezer was the last Dragon Master he should claim the title. This was detailed in The Dragonology Chronicles Volume One: The Dragon's Eye.
