The DVD of the television special A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa was released in 2009. The release was announced to be an extended edition cut, with new scenes adding up to a total running time of 55 minutes. After the credits there is a blooper reel. The release include The Muppets Stocking Stuffer Smorgasbord a menu from where the viewer can explore the bonus features that include short interviews with Madison Pettis, Jane Krakowski, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Fozzie, still photos and four deleted scenes.
