Bridge of Lights was one of only two known ways to cross the River of Stars and travel from Ningen-do, the mortal world, into Yomi. The bridge had been visited by Kitsu on many occasions. Often, at state funerals of Clan Champions, daimyo, or a member of the Imperial Houses a Kitsu journeyed with the spirit for the next thirty five days to safely guide him.
