Hive Fleet Talos precedes assaults with orbital bombardments of gigantic amunition organisms that combust when exposed to the combination of elements in an atmosphere. This first wave is often succeded by combined bombardments of Mycetic spores and more Igniter larvae. These Mycetc spores often contain fully equipped assault forces that once landed start heading towards the nearest defence outposts.
