Balthazar Blake is a powerful and elite sorcerer who is Dave Stutler's master and another main protagonist in The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Balthazar Blake was one of the three apprentices taken on by the wizard Merlin, in an attempt to stop the evil witch Morgana le Fay. He is portrayed by Nicolas Cage.
