An arboreal creature], the trusa (P. "leaf frog") was adapted for gliding from tree to tree. It had a broad head, a long slim body, and elongated limbs with webbed feet. Flaps of skin fringed the forelimbs and heels, permitting the creature to extend its body and create a bizarre but effective set of "wings". This bright red and blue frog grew no larger than about 3 inches in length, but they were among the deadliest animals in the humid woodlands of southeastern Middle-earth. If touched, the spines on the back of the trusa wold inject trusa, a strong (lvl 4) poison. A victim who fails failed to resist diedor became blind and fell into a coma.
