The Elite AT-TE was an upgraded model of the All Terrain Tactical Enforcer that sported tougher armor and more powerful weaponry. After the Battle of Yavin, the Alliance to Restore the Republic operated these vehicles and supplied them to Saponza's Gang. Colonel Jennica Pierce had a great deal of faith in the Elite AT-TE's capabilities, and even believed they could represent a turning point in the Galactic Civil War.
