This business was one of two Sicilian Goods outlets in the New York area, the second being in Brooklyn. It was run by Diego Stracci, one of the two Stracci twins, whose brother Donato ran the other business. While Diego was a smooth operator, his racket boss, Vinnie Vespucci was not known for his brains, and as a result, Stracci struggled to keep the business running. In 1947, during the Five Families War, the outlet was seized by the Corleone family.
