Phil Hearne appeared in three roles on Coronation Street: * Community Development Officer Chris Shawcross in August 1983 * PC Nailor in May 1990 * Detective Sergeant Mallory in May 1992. He also appeared in Watching, How We Used to Live, Prime Suspect, The Bill and Heartbeat. As well as being an actor, Phil is a musician who has worked extensively in theatre in the UK, Europe, the United States and Canada. In the West End, he appeared in leading roles in Lennon and Willy Russell's Blood Brothers.
