Clarence W. Dart, Sr. (6 December 1920 – 17 February 2012) was a World War II fighter pilot and member of the Tuskegee Airmen. During World War II, he flew a total of 95 missions, and was shot down twice, earning two Purple Hearts. He was also the recipient of the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross with four oak leaf clusters. Dart received his Congressional Gold Medal from President George W. Bush at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on 29 March 2007. Dart died 17 February 2012 in Saratoga Springs, New York. He was 91.
