The USS Pioneer (NCC-71102-A) was commissioned after it's predecessor had been destroyed due to the arise of the Dominion War. The Pioneer-A is a Nebula-class Federation Starship. The Pioneer has successfully made first contact with 4 different species. It is also seen in action during the Battle Of Sector 001 in the first wave of ships. This ship was given the motto, "Fix it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.". Captain Ryan Hoh assumed command shortly after the vessel's christening.
