The Indigo Salt Flats were a blue sand formation on the planet Manticore. In 1883 PD, it became the location of King Roger III's fatal grav ski accident. In the following hours and days, countless citizens of Manticore travelled to the Flats to express their grieve and sorrow. (HHA2.3: QG)
