The 1956-25 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Memphis-Arkansas Speedway on June 10, 1956. Ralph Moody took charge late in the event and held off Jim Paschal by four seconds for Moody's first career victory. It also ended a record sixteen-race winning streak for the Carl Kiekhaefer-owned team. Herb Thomas was the highest finishing of those cars in 5th, while his teammate and eventual season champ Buck Baker finished 9th. Stats
