The Town of Rauru, also known simply as Rauru, is a location from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. This town is located in Western Hyrule, just to the southeast of the North Castle. When Link visits the town, he meets a Wise Man who teaches him the Shield Spell. This is the only instance where Link does not have to complete any sort of side-quest in order to gain access to the Old Man's house.
