Kaori Nakabai (半井 香織, Nakabai Kaori), also known as Kaorin, is a music composer who has a long work history with Keiji Yamagishi and Ryuichi Nitta. She is currently a founding member and participant of Kajiya Music, an independent music label, and a composer for Brave Wave Music. Nakabai started composing video game music in the '80s for Tecmo. She is best known for Ninja Gaiden 3, Captain Tsubasa 3, and Ganbare Gin-kun. By the mid 1990s, she left Tecmo to work at Koei. Nakabai became independent at the same time as Yamagishi and continues to have a healthy work relationship with him.
