The PEGASUS Program was a series of 10 missions flown by MSA astronauts over a two and a half year period begining in 2014 along with two unmaned, and undesignated, missions to certify the spacecraft. The goal of the program was flight demonstration and proof of concept for manned spaceflight. While almost universally successful the Pegasus program remained significantly behind similair flight programs launched by FASTA and spurred heavy investment in next generation booster technology.
